DescriptionOur client develops,owns and operates green renewable energy sources in the western United States. Due to development of new projects they have created a new position of Assistant Site Manager.
POSITION SUMMARY
Provides support to the Site General Manager for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all power plant facilities and associated equipment in accordance with procedures, guidelines, and operating directives in effect. Provides day-to-day supervision for Operations and Maintenance Managers in the accomplishment of project goals and objectives. Accountable for documentation of departmental activities including, but not limited to summary of activity reports, revenue/generation reports, project completion reports (capital projects, major equipment failure, and predictive types), engineering design review reports and budget variances. Insures operations and maintenance are carried out in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations.
Requires experience as a thermal power plant Operations and/or Maintenance Manager. A Bachelor Degree is desired, but experience is more important. Previous experience in the US Navy Nuclear power program is a plus.
