Senior Manager - Industrial Power
Location: Metro NYC

We are seeking an Engineering professional with a strong background in industrial and heavy infrastructure projects to play a key role for our Industrial Power division. You will be responsible for providing direction and technical oversight to support the Project Team which includes the Ownership, Engineer, Construction Managers, Contractors, and their own Commissioning team members. Projects include a wide variety from underground utility interconnects, and power feeders for mass transit, to CHP, new co-generation facilities, and emergency generation systems. Must be very familiar with power distribution from 600V to 27kV.

  • Team Management: Manage and work with team members, both in the office and in the field, to improve their skills, knowledge and value. Provide regular constructive feedback on positive and negative performance. Manage team’s overall financial performance and ensure the execution of their projects
  • Client Management: Maintain positive relationships with existing clients and consistently promote additional services, future business, and positive references.
  • Project Management: Review project schedules with project team members. Review and oversee project design and construction.
  • Business Development: Support and lead the development of change orders on existing projects for your team members and affiliates.Create and support the development of proposals on new clients and / or projects. Participate in client and / or educational presentations as required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 8+ years Engineering Experience, including 5 years of management experience
  • One of the following: PE License, LEED, or CCP
  • Ability to read and understand project drawings
  • Experience conducting site visits, report generation, and site surveys
  • Proven track record and excellent customer relation skills
  • Must have a strong work ethic and ability to learn and strong communication skills
  • Excellent coach and mentor
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Must work out of downtown New York City office.
  • Candidates should be immediately able to legally work in this Country without sponsorship.
