Production / Lease Operator
Location – Well sites in the Washington, PA region

*MUST reside within 45 minutes of Washington, PA*

Our Client is seeking and experienced Production Operator to work on multiple well sites throughout the Washington, PA region.  Qualified candidates must have previous experience and knowledge of production monitoring equipment. This is a direct placement, full time opportunity with our Client Company.
  • At least 2-3+ years experience on production side of the Oil & Gas Industry
  • Knowledge/experience in oil & natural gas production, controllers, and data gathering equipment
  • Knowledge of shale wells
  • Knowledge of what tank and separator does
  • Ability to use computer and emailing skills necessary for daily reports
  • Mechanical experience preferred
  • Must have valid driver’s licenses and Clean driving record
  • Pre-employment drug and background screening will be required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification/associate degree preferred
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good relationship skills; able to work effectively with others to accomplish goals
  • Proven ability to organize and complete assigned tasks
  • Ability to work primarily in the outdoors exposed to all weather conditions and frequently requires the following physical abilities: Standing, Walking, Driving, Repetitive Arm/Hand Movement, Lifting & Carrying 5lb.– 50lbs
  • General knowledge of how to take care of a well/multi well pad
  • Inspect/Monitors equipment for entire shift
  • Responsible for ensuring that equipment is running properly
  • Performs daily operational check of assigned wells & production facilities in assigned area
  • Gathers, interprets production rates, evaluation performance, recommends and/or determines and implements appropriate course of action
  • Record pressures, check fluid levels, gauge tanks, switches
  • Performs trouble shooting on all equipment
  • Identifies deficiencies and recommends corrections to existing procedures to ensure the assigned field meets performance standards
  • Maintains and repairs equipment as necessary
  • Performs housekeeping & basic maintenance of well sites, vehicles, tools, etc.
  • Identifies problems or potential problems with equipment; may provide technical guidance to others
  • Completes and submits daily production reports in a timely manner; able to discuss/provide background on reports.
  • Ensures that safety devices are operational
  • Attends & participates in HSE meetings and tail gate meetings
  • Reports near-misses and incidents to supervisor & HSE immediately
  • Complete JSA’s
Schedule and Compensation Information:
  • Hourly wage- $16.00 - $21.00/hr depending upon experience
  • 12 hour shifts, both A.M. and P.M. shifts
  • Ability to work 6+ days a week
  • Currently averaging 65+ hours per week at this time.
