Job Description
SUMMARY:

As a District Sales Representative you will work closely with your customers to troubleshoot and resolve daily operational and manufacturing issues in addition to helping them achieve their longer-term strategic goals. This position is a HIGH VISIBILITY engineering and technical sales role that includes daily interface with Operations, Technical, and Senior Plant Management personnel.

Compensation includes a very attractive base salary, 20% bonus plan, vehicle allowance, laptop, phone, excellent benefits, and profit sharing. Relocation assistance is available, but would prefer Midwest candidates. Our client serves over 70,000 customer locations in more than 130 countries. The MINIMUM qualifications the candidate must have include:

- B.S. Engineering Degree preferred, ideally Chemical Engineering, but Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or similar technical degree is acceptable
- 3 - 5 years sales experience, preferably in industrial water treatment
- Proven leadership capability, strong sense of urgency and work ethic, high energy and an eagerness to sell
- Prior experience with or exposure to unit operations such as industrial boilers, condensers, cooling towers, reverse osmosis (RO) units, heat exchangers, refrigeration units, waste treatment operations, water treatment, and/or specialty chemicals a plus
- Strong relationship management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Valid drivers license with good driving record
