Electronic Sensor Circuit Design Engineer
Syracuse, NY

The Job
Design, analyze, simulate, test and debug complex board-level analog and RF electronics for high precision sensors, working with fellow engineers as part of a team in developing new product systems and modernization of successful products.
Candidates
m
ust have experience with design of original product involving analog and low power, low frequency power systems. Knowledge of Switched-mode power supplies, Signal conditioning and Interface electronics for data conversion. An ability to design for cost as well as performance. Bench experience required. Comfortable with electronic measurement methods and use of test equipment. Conscientious of electrostatic discharge (ESD) issues and prevention. Literate in standard engineering software tools including SPICE simulation, Matlab, Excel, schematic capture and PCB layout software. Design experience with very low-noise electrometer circuits or instrumentation is a major plus.
BSEE with 8 years related experience, MSEE preferred.
