Commissioning & Start-Up Engineers Needed

By a Top Oil and Gas Development Company
in their Upstream Oil & Gas Major Capital Projects Group

Job Description:

The Project COMMISSIONING Engineer will be part of a Project Management Team responsible for large projects involving chemical processing, or refining, or natural gas treating and conditioning or oil&gas production.

The work will be done everywhere in the World including Houston, Qatar, Africa, Europe and Japan and other major cities around the globe.

Skill Set:

The Commissioning Engineer should have the following job attributes and characteristics:
- Proven major project commissioning engineering technical skills
- Must have COMMISSIONING experience
- Good technical understanding of chemical or crude oil or gas processing or NGL extraction and fractionation processes, or LNG processes
- Demonstrated technical leadership skills - Good interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work with project teams - Experience overseeing contractor engineering work activities
- Practical hands-on troubleshooting experience in starting mechanical, process, power and control systems similar to those used in the oil and gas industry.

Requirements:

- Education: B.S. or M.S. Engineering
- This person may have worked for an A&E or E&C firm or for an operating company in the energy industry.
- Prior ex-pat experience is not required but the exact types of facility project experience on green-field basis is essential. - These positions are on the permanent staff of a major energy company so there will be another project somewhere in the World requiring your living in that country, most often family status.
- This is a wonderful opportunity to work domestically or overseas for a World-class oil company.
- Senior management executives are not sought for this order.
- Our client is extremely experienced in ex-patriate employment and these are good jobs with ample add on allowances to offset the extra costs.
 - The base salary is high, and can reach to $190,000 or more, depending on experience.
- The position is based in Houston, TX, except for periods of relocation.
- A very lucrative relocation package applies and uplifts are often paid for ex-pat assignments (often family status).
